We were surprised when we opened the box. The ceramic holders were very nice and had a good bit of heft to it. It’s just the right size we wanted–not too big; not too small. We are looking forward to using it for years to come.

Beautiful ceramic incense burner. A little overpriced, though. I wanted it slightly bigger but it does what it’s meant to do. Depending on what type of incense you’re using, the smoke comes out heavy at the top at first, but then it starts to get lighter. I was using a cone for demonstration compared to a sage or palo santo stick to evaluate. The only two things I didn’t like are: 1) the opening face is not as wide to put your hands in (my knuckles hit the top) to place an incense cone in the middle so it can be directly under the top’s opening. Of course, you don’t have to place it directly under the top’s opening bc the smoke will circulate towards the top, but it defeats the purpose if I can’t place it directly under the opening..to mitigate this, I realized to use tongs to put the cone directly under opening. It beats sticking your hand in there. 2) You will need to get a small wood/metal plate to place cones on bc they may leave burn marks. That could have been included alongside the little brush that comes with this to get the money’s worth. It makes a good gift for ppl who like burning incense or to incorporate in their spiritual practices.
